two cans pie cherries
one box white or yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts |

| Spread cherries to cover the bottom of a 13"x9"x2" pan. Sprinkle cake mix to coat. Pour melted butter over top. Sprinkle nuts. Bake at 350* for one hour.
Any fruit pie filling can be substituted for cherries.
Recipe can easily be cut in half.
Top with ice cream or whipped cream. |
