1# Ground Beef (Chuck) 1 Minced Garlic Clove (Large) 1 Large Onion (Minced) 1 Small Can of Tomato Paste 1 Regular Can of Tomato Sauce Salt & Pepper Italian Seasoning Bay Leaf 1/4 Cup of White Wine
For 8# meat (Large batches taste better and can be frozen in plastic containers:
4 Bay Leaves (Break in half) 1 Tsp Pepper 2 Tbsp Salt 2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning 1 Cup Wine

Sauté Onion & Garlic.
Brown the Beef.
Mix everything together and
simmer for 3 hours.
Let sit overnight.
In the morning your kids can play "find the bay leaves." With 8 pounds of ground beef and the other mush, it can keep them occupied for up to 30 minutes.
I usually make 8 lbs of beef in a huge pot, then pour it into plastic containers, (enough for 2 people), and freeze the mess. For a quick meal, drown some spaghetti noodles, nuke the sauce, and serve with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.
I also add mushrooms, some dried chives for color, and an old sneaker for humor. I didn't include them in the recipe because kids won't eat mushrooms and are allergic to any food with a greenish hue. Some adults have difficulty with the sneaker.
