| Toasted Cheese Bake |

8 slices bread
butter or margarine
1/2lb ground beef
1/4cup chopped onion
2tbls chopped celery
1tbls prepared mustard
1/2tsp salt
1cup shredded cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4cup milk
1/2tsp salt
dash pepper
1/8tsp dry mustard |

| Heat oven to 350*. Toast bread; butter both sides. Cook meat, onion, celery, prepared mustard and 1/2tsp salt until meat is brown and onion is tender.
Alternate layers of toast, meat mixture and cheese in a greased baking pan, 9x9x2. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over layers in pan. Bake uncovered 30-35 min. |
