2lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes 1/2 cup melted butter 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2tsp. salt pepper to taste 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 pint sour cream or plain yogurt 10oz. shredded chedar cheese 2 cups corn flakes bacon bits (optional) |

Mix all ingredients (except corn flakes) in a large baking dish. Cover with corn flakes and bake 1 hour @ 350* |
