5 cups sugar 4 cups water 3/4 cups instant coffee 1/5 vodka 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract |

Boil sugar and water for 15 min. Let cool. Dissolve coffee in vodka. Add to sugar mixture. Chop vanilla bean and add to liquid. Pour into bottles and shake daily for three weeks before using. If using extract, add to liquid. Pour into bottles and shake daily for one week before using.
Great topping for vanilla ice cream! |
